From best selling authors, participants will learn the nuts and bolts of writing, plus how each author started
writing, how they found a publisher and their tips for getting into print.
Authors will cover areas such as character, dialogue, planning, and creative flow as well as the basics of show
and tell and avoiding clichés.
Each afternoon is dedicated to a more in-depth study of a specific aspect of creative writing, honing and
developing your skills or kick starting that novel you’ve always had in the back of your mind.
We advise all participants to familiarise themselves with the author’s
work before each course.
