INKwell Writers’ Workshops take place at Fitzpatrick’s Castle Hotel and
are structured around your busy lifestyle, packing an intensive blend of learning through conversation and
practical exercises, with plenty of time for questions, into one full day. Covering essential fiction writing
technique including characterisation, dialogue and plotting and planning our workshops are designed to take you
that crucial step closer to publication.
Learn from bestselling authors, the nuts and bolts of great writing, plus how
each author started writing, how they found a publisher and hear their tips for getting into print. Numbers are
small in each workshop to ensure all participants get the very best from the facilitating authors.

Every fiction writing workshop is facilitated by at least two authors to enable participants to get the very
best advice available, finding out about different writing styles, different approaches to plotting and planning
and the many different ways authors write.
Places are strictly limited, so early booking is essential. All day courses are
€175 unless otherwise stated; this includes a gourmet lunch with your facilitators.
We advise all participants to familiarise themselves with the authors' work
before each course.
If your chosen workshop is already marked as full please contact us to be placed on the waiting list - there are
often cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances and we do our utmost to facilitate all workshop
participants.
