A Country House Weekend Away?

Yasmin O’Grady runs creative writing weekends in her fabulous historic house,  mentored by novelist Denyse Woods, director of the West Cork Literary Festival.  Workshops are relaxed and inspiring with plenty of time to write and the bonus of expert publishing advice on hand.

The weekend begins with a champagne reception and fireside readings from guest author Claire Kilroy. There is a delightful, houseparty atmosphere with farm-fresh food and lots of home baking to sustain you. Elegant rooms, a walled garden and acres of glorious countryside: there is no better place to make a start on that story, memoir or bestselling novel.

The small group sessions are welcoming and supportive, with plenty of time to write.  In them, Denyse will cover the essential elements of novel writing with exercises to improve your skill and style.  There is also invaluable, ‘one-on-one’ time with her, to discuss and develop your own writing projects.
