INKwell are keen to foster new talent and from Summer 2010 are planning children's writing courses: our Write How? Write Now! Summer Camps for kids aged 7-9 and 9-12 and a series of specialised Write How? Write Now! one day workshops. |  |

Bringing in top level published authors who have had extensive experience working with young writers we aim to ignite their creativity and show them the essential basics of good fiction writing. Using fun, creative exercises facilitators of these children's writing courses will show how to develop character, how to plot and plan and how to write effective dialogue. At every camp participants will receive a made to measure handout pack of writers tips and a copy of Young Writer Magazine. |

Age Group: 9-12 years Facilitator: Claire Hennessy Claire Hennessy is author of nine young adult novels. She was born in Dublin in 1986 and attended Trinity College Dublin. She teaches creative writing workshops and is the editor of an online magazine for gifted teenagers. Her first book, Dear Diary..., was written when she was twelve and published by Poolbeg shortly before her fourteenth birthday. Her latest book Every Summer is out now. |
