Francis MacManus Award Closing 20th Jan
The RTÉ Radio Francis Mac Manus Short Story Competition is accepting entries to the 2012 competition.
The author of the overall winning story will receive €3,000 with prizes of €2,000 or €1,000 awarded to second or third prize winners.

These recordings are broadcast on RTÉ Radio 1 following the announcement of the competition winners.

Only one entry per person is allowed. Entries, in Irish or English, must be the original work of the author and must not have been previously published or broadcast.

Winners will be announced in June 2012.
Closing date for entries is January 20, 2012.
