Literary Event Management
With a background in marketing and corporate event management working with industry leader Corporate Events, whose clients included Bord Gais, Glaxo Smith Kline and the Smurfit Business School, Vanessa Fox O’Loughlin is an experienced and professional event manager.
Vanessa’s speciality is bringing a creative twist to events, and she has developed events such as the the hugely successful Dublin UNESCO City of Literature ‘Great Writing, Great Places’ series.

Vanessa has also programmed Waterford Writers Weekend for several years and is co-currator of the literary strand of the Bram Stoker Festival. She has programmed individual events for festivals around the country including Listowel Writers Week, The Dublin Book Festival, The Dalkey Book Festival and Boyle Arts Festival.
Working with authors to give their books maximum exposure, she looks for an innovative ideas to make events attractive and enjoyable for the public. Working with organisations who are looking to promote authors, writing or reading, or with corporates keen to work with authors to develop brand awareness, she also develops online and print media strategies.
