Social Newsmaker Conference – How to Tell Your Story Online
The aim of this half-day conference is to create 100 new social newsmakers in Ireland. In the last five years, a revolutionary shift has taken place in the way we consume news. The news is now finding us directly through social media.
According to a recent study by the Wall Street Journal’s digital network, 75% of all online news in the USA is now sourced through social media sharing.
Are you prepared for this change? Or do you just send press releases to the traditional media?
Do you want to know how you can become part of the social news revolution?
Over the last 3 years conference organiser Mediahq.com has shared hundreds of stories every week through social media and traditional emails to journalists.
The conference will take place on Thursday, November 22nd in Harold’s Cross from 9am – 1.30pm and it’s entitled “Social Newsmaker – How to tell your story online“
On the day there will be a mix of practical training on social newsmaking and sharing, along with case studies from some of Ireland’s most dynamic social newsmakers including Murphy’s Ice Cream, Fota Wildlife Park, the Irish Red Cross and many more.
