What we’re looking for
Original fiction or poetry. We’re open to all genres and formats – though for reasons of intellectual property rights we cannot publish fan fiction, unless specific approval has been given from the original copyright owner.
Terms and conditions
Three Monkeys Online does not pay for published stories / poetry; we’re a magazine with a large public but limited resources. In certain cases we can arrange an advertising revenue share with authors – this is decided on an individual basis.
By submitting work to fiction.poetry@threemonkeysonline.com you agree to the following terms and conditions:
- You represent that the submission is your original work, and that you have the right to grant the rights outlined
- You also represent that your submission does not, to the best of your knowledge, infringe upon anyone’s copyright.
- You will retain full copyright of the published work
- You grant Three Monkeys Online a non-exclusive right to reproduce this work in electronic format
On submission your work will be reviewed by Three Monkeys Online’s editorial team – please be aware that we receive lots of submissions and may not be able to respond individually to every submission, though we do our best to let authors know as quickly as possible whether their work will be published.
